This end table will add sophistication to any space. The top measures 24″x16″, and is approx. 24″ tall. Made of mostly red oak, this table features an inlaid acanthus design that follows a wood carving by Lars Kinsarvik, dating to around the turn of the 1900s. I used Maple, Cypress, Butternut, and Sapele for the inlay, and a gorgeous forest green mica powder to tint the epoxy resin linework. The lower shelf has a border stripe of sapele, adding a gentle accent. I also deliberately left a large knot in the lower shelf that I could fill with matching green epoxy, adding a little hidden treasure.
