My Viking Dragon carving set will add a powerful note of Nordic history to any space. The ancient carving design is rendered in striking natural wood colors. The turquoise epoxy resin linework shimmers so much, it looks electrified by the lightning of Thor himself.
In these carvings, I follow the design of the viking Dragons carved on the side of a stave church in Urnes, Norway. The original carvings date to around 800ad, depicting a tangle of dragons and serpents, each biting the neck of another. The outer edge of each panel is Red Oak, and the inlay woods are Beech, Catalpa, Cherry, and Sapele. For the linework between the inlay pieces, I used epoxy resin tinted with turquoise mica powder. Each panel is 13″ wide x 43″ tall, so the set of three will take up just over 3 feet of wall space. I mounted a heavy duty D-ring hanger to the back of each panel. While I will use this inlay design again, no two wall panel sets will be the same. There will not be another set quite like this one.

If you’re in the Southern WI or Northern IL area, it would be cheaper to pay me $1.00 per mile to drive them to you – which I’m happy to do if you contact me before purchasing. If you’re in the Madison, WI area, I do have a Local Pickup option available – again, contact me before purchasing.
Return Policy: I will accept returns for 30 days after date of delivery, if item is in the same condition it was delivered. There will be a 10% restocking fee for a return, and any shipping costs will be paid by customer. When item is received as returned, it will be inspected for damage before a refund is processed.
